Relevant constructs

It's been great to work on identifying relevant constructs - it's surprisingly difficult, and an important skill to develop. On the other hand, I also believe in contextual learning. If we focus in on the relevant construct too much, do we lose contextual learning? That is to say, if we spend all our time on the Nautilus machines, do we lose something more holistic that we get from, say, playing outdoors?
